Message from Cynthia Wells, Outreach Coordinator, Western Iowa Synod, Jan. 11, 2008

Please note that the funds from Estherville Lutheran in the amounts of $500 for the reservoir and $5,000 for the Mbarali Parish gift of water are being held in the WIS well project fund until the actual reservoir (or repair) of the first well at Mbarali is completed and subsequent well(s) in this area have been drilled. 

Thanks to all at Estherville Lutheran for these generous contributions!! 

We hope the well team traveling to TZ in Feb. can find a solution to the continually flowing water at Mbarali.  Once that has been accomplished, we will know how much funding is available toward the drilling of additional wells in the Mbarali region.
