                                       ANNOUNCEMENTS

On Sunday, May 4, a Special Offering will be received for the Roof Project. We hope to receive the funds to be able to pay for the repairs to the church roof before the construction begins! Thanks to all who have contributed to this fund, and we ask for your continued support through this home stretch!

On Sunday, May 11, a Special Offering will be received for the 2008 Assembly Offering. The Western Iowa Synod Assembly will be held June 6-7.    The 2008 Assembly offering will be divided equally among these designated recipients: Companion Synod Projects, (Tanzania), WIS Leadership Development Fund, and
Candidacy Scholarships (Seminary Students). We have a goal of about $800, which would be $1 per
baptized member. Our Assembly Members will take our congregation's offering to the Assembly.
